Navos

Behavioral health is a hard topic to talk about. It is even harder to be a place that provides assistance. Navos is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating a healing home for behavioral health. Being a non-profit, donorship is essential. The existing website was directed specifically for donorship. Navos was changing. They had created relationships with like minded facilities and was now able to build a new facility of their own. With the new home came a new website directed towards patients rather than donors.

my role

Working directly with the Navos team, my manager and I, aggressively inspected the existing information on the Navos website. After completing a comprehensive analysis, it was clear that there was content that needed to be created along with a new information architecture and visual design. I did some research in the behavioral health industry to better guide Navos in their content creation.

customer experience

To have a great user experience you need a great information architecture. The Navos team was not clear about the content they needed for new users. This high-level information architecture was sent over to Navos to review. After they had a chance to familiarize themselves with the document, we then had meetings to talk about what content was needed and what content already existed.

ideation

After solidifying what content would be used, I then began to iterate on different designs.

final delivery

After a three month period working with the Navos team, I was now able to created a friendly and inviting user experience for new and existing users. Using color and imagery created a easy opportunity for different touch points to access information on behavioral health provided by Navos.
